WHAT IS 1040-A ?
It is simply a shortened version of the 1040 tax form, but longer than the 1040-EZ form.
Typically, if you are under $100,000 and have children, you will want to use this form over the 1040-EZ. However, you cannot itemize your deductions on this form, you would need to use the regular 1040 Form.
*This is only available for tax years up to 2017.
